Well, my therapist called me as soon as I left a message. (Left a message at like 10pm at night; she called at 8am next morning but I was at girlfriend's house; I called back, leaving a message to say I was out of the woods.)
I think she _could_ coordinate something. But I definitely don't have coordinated care -- it's quite fragmented at the time, the result of not having had health insurance for two years.
But I will ask. It's quite dangerous for someone to be in private practice without a backup, imho. If she couldn't handle my difficulties and needs, after starting work with me as a couples counselor (couple broke up; I stayed), she should have told me.
