and those parent issues: let them out (it's one of the best things i ever did. in fact, i'm efen able to talk to my mother though i forgot about her birthday yesterday.... oopsie!)
honestly though, it sure does help to get all thsoe thoguhts and feelings out of your head. it helps to examine them (especially on paper or computer screen for me).
there are tons (and tons and tons... mr bob sure ahs been busy) of boards here, so i hope i see your name around at least one of them.
take care of yourself and if you want to 'talk', i'm listening. and don't woory about criticism, people round these parts are pretty good (excellent maybe) and not judging.
