Hi Noey!
You've got a lot going on! It's funny how so many times when we're very close to a situation, we don't see what's really going on, like your parents not knowing about you. I know several counselors personally and they don't see in their kids what is very plain to the rest of us. I've dying to ask one of them why that is! ;~} You would think they could identify the problem better than the rest of us and work on fixing it, but they don't.
It's cool you've kept a journal. Teen years are so hard anyway, then you add BP to it--you must be a very strong young woman!
It's good that you're better. I commend you for handling this without your parents, although I wish you didn't feel like you have to. Do you think that you could ever tell them in a counseling session where there could be a mediator? Just a thought. You are close to my daughter's age and I would hate to think she was keeping something this important from me. (But I did the same thing with my mom, partly because she was nuts and would have really flipped out had I told her some things!)
It sounds like your friend understands you since this site was recommended for you. I have found that my friends and church family love me better than my family does. Not that my family doesn't love me, it's just that my friends accept me for who I am which makes it different.
So here's a big hug in case you don't get one from anyone else today!
