hello, I share some of your dx of PTSD, too. Also suffer from panic attacks, major depression, and anxiety.
I took effexor for over a year - it helped with the depression and anxiety in a huge way, but for me I couldn't stay at an effectively high dose without my blood pressure going too high. Now I'm on Cymbalta - and it's the same problem. Is the effexor working well for you?

Are you getting any therapy in addition to taking the meds? Have you had any side effects from Effexor? I had hot flashes for weeks! (Sorry, didn't mean for this to sound like 20 questions....)
