Wow, our histories are very similar. I was on prozac for many years...stopped working, so tried wellbutrin...didn't do a thing. Started Effexor XR about 2 months ago, I'm up to 150mg per day and I feel great. It took about 6 weeks or so to kick in though. I was very discouraged. So far side effects are minor. No "female" issues for me. I say give it a little longer...
