Hi

I have problems somewhat similar to your. Livelong dysthymia with atypical features and double episodes.

My best result so far, has been a combo of Abilify and Prozac. Prozac seems to remove the sleepiness caused by Abilify (and by the illness itself). The only problems I had with this combo was the usual sexual side effects from Prozac.

My dosage was:

Prozac 20 mg
Abilify 2 mg

It should be noted, that Prozac will increase the blood plasme level of Abilify considerably.

I have tried Risperdal too, but with little success.

I believe, that Prozacs positive effects are due to HT2C antagonism. I will therefore try to substitute Prozac with Valdoxan in the near future, hoping that this will remove the sexual side effects.

I hope this can help you.
