My psychiatrist said that anxiety is high. A LPC said it was "through the roof" high. This was a surprise to me. I told them that I did not know it was high, it was just the way that I lived, the way that I was, like telling a fish, "hey, you are all wet." In fact, my diagnosis ended up being depression, secondary to high anxiety.

As to side effects, not sure what is due to coming off of cymbalta and what is due to depression and what is due to nardil.

Spacey. Indecisive. Lack of confidence. Stare at the screen type of thing.

However, I do sense a calmness that is most likely attributable to Nardil. I do not have any sort of high blood pressure issues, do not drink beer or wine and I can certainly live without pizza. So the hypertension spiking is not really a big concern for me, although I am mindful of this and have a bottle of meds with me just in case I start to have a reaction, an "in case of emergency" type thing.

I may have my expectations up too high, probably need to lower them some. I am hoping for a miracle in a bottle.

Today is the 6th day on nardil. As much as I wished that I could say that I feel a difference or change, I can't.

No problem with sex drive, orgasm, urination, doing number 2, etc. None of that at all.

My main concern is just feeling foggy - like I really got to think HARD to think at all.

Is that nardil? Is that depression? Not sure . . .
