FDA approves cymbalta for chronic pain patent expi

I found this interesting as evidently cymbalta has been fighting to have cymbalta approved for chronic pain arthritis and musculo skeltal. Why? Patent will expire in a few years. And the FDA has approved it at 60mg. Phillipa
