Who will I tell my CTA stories to?
Who will understand when I talk about AT and music lessons?

I'm so sad right now, thinking how ephemeral it was-- your correspondence.

Having your last letter is comforting. I know you were in pain. You said you were desperate. I thought you could pull out of it though. I thought you had the support and doctors, and ...

?

(gargoyle tears)

but I'm happy for you, in a way. Your mind and your gentle caring and your talents and heart were wasted in this life. Wasted by that devastating illness. You were so brave for so long. Even so, the old ladies loved you, as did many other people. I wish that all problems could be solved as simply as replacing a thermostat.

(((((you)))))
