It must be awful for you. My husband's father has dementia & has been in a special 'home' specifically for those with dementia. I've often wondered how I'd feel if it were my parent. I lost both my parents, however, in my early 20's within a couple of years of each other.

It must be so hard for you. I think I'd feel confused....I'd have lost my Mom to a large degree, but then, she'd still be actually alive - but not at all the same person.

My heart goes out to you.
