Sure, in the 1980's I graduated from Art School.
I was working as a natural foods cook.
I was doing Hatha Yoga and during a breathing exercise energy rushed up my spine.
After much chatting around about this my friends directed me to an ashram that taught about this energy.
Kundalini energy.
I went to my first yoga class and stayed for years.
I married, moved and became a deeper part of this community.
My marriage died, I moved and left the dharma.
But the people and some of the teachings stayed with me.

I only once had occasion to talk to Yogi Bhajan up close.
His aura was very thick and I sat close.
I felt like I was traveling in space, I saw my body chatting about something totally unimportant.
It all fell away and I felt blissed.
Being in his aura was such a gift.

My life was a bit of a mess before entering the dharma.
I was headed for disaster.
It would have taken a lot to have changed at that point.
My life has taken me all my life to heal.
Now I must rush off to a long day at work.
thanks for asking.
I enjoyed giving you an answer.
Jai Narayan
