((Sandy)) My heart goes out to you. It's normal to be upset when losing animals regardless of the reason. Their presence can make such an amazing difference in the atmosphere of a home, even if it's not noticed until it's gone. I've found that animals can be there in a way people often aren't, if that makes any sense to you. Do you know if you'll be able to visit the dogs at their new home once in a while?
Even if you made a decision in the best interests of the dogs, it's normal to feel upset and grieve. I recently lost my cat, and I found that venting as necessary (Babble is great for that), doing little things to remind myself of him, and taking extra time to relax and do soothing things helped me get to a point where I could function through the pain. Your mileage may vary, of course, but I hope you find something to help get you through. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
