I'm sorry that you are in such pain now. However, it does sound like you really want to move back to the States and that is a positive thing. I went to a psychiatrist for five years and when I decided that I needed to move on, I cried for weeks. It was a very difficult decision made only more difficult when he passed away shortly after we talked last. I would keep in touch with her, I imagine that she will really miss you and that hearing from you would help her through the transition also. We, too, get attached to the people we see. I still miss patients that I haven't seen in years. In fact, yesterday I was thinking of one in particular. Come here again and let me know how you are doing. Pat
