Hi Emmy,
Thanks for your kind thoughts.
What can I say. he was just an ordinary young man who just couldnt get over this depression thing he was suffering from. He was 24, went through different stages of using drugs, and crap like that, but we didn't give up hoping that one day he might of come good. But its pretty difficult when its hard to get proper treatment or effective treatment.By the way we are in Australia. There is currently an investigation going on as to why he died at the hospital, as through out the afternoon on admittance and the night his stats were good, except by the morning things started getting bad, he suffered a couple of respritory arrests when they transferred him from one hospital to the next and then during another one they were unsuccesful at ressuscitating him. We are just working through different things at this time, still waiting for the final coroners report etc. One other strange thing the hospital didn't even bother doing any type of poison control like giving activated charchoal etc all they were concerned with were the seizures which are a part of effexor xr overdose, even on a couple of websites to do with effexor xr it recomends administering charchoal for overdoses. Oh well. All we can hope for is that the Hospitals learn from there mistakes and they don't do the same for someone else. Thankyou for caring. :->
