The night after she died I wondered how the family could go to sleep in the house where it had happened?
They must have wanted to be somewhere else. Maybe another life? I just hate thinking about them waking up the next morning wondering if it was a bad dream. That's of course if they could sleep at all.
I am glad our paper covered her death so soon, the story was on the front page. This coverage gives us all permission to talk about her and our grief.
One person has such an impact on everyone.
ps (thanks for the correction Pat. It's still pretty intense but I'm glad it wasn't your daughter.)
