I am unsure as to what you are wanting to mean in the above statement. If you could clarify the following, I could have the opportunity to respond accordingly.
A. In [...I fought the system...] I am unsure as to if the system that you are wanting to mean is the Baptist system in and of itself , since you were a member for 31 years, or if the system that you are referring to is some other system that includes the Baptist system, or something else.
B. In,[...because 2 of them wanted to commit suicide...], I am unsure as to if the reason that the women wanted to commit suicide is connected to the pastor that you are referring to, or if the reason that the 2 women wanted to commit suicide is unrelated to the pastor in question, or something else.
C. In,[..."counseling"...] , I am unsure as to the reason(s) that you used quotes could be.
