Basically, all I was saying was that since God created the world, and since the world is so darn screwed up (with people killing one another, abusing children, stealing from others, betraying other people, etc) we can think one of two things about the Creator:
1- he did not mean for this to happen - it was a mistake he made.
2- he knew the world would be this way from the moment he created it. and he did it anyway. knowing he was creating something that would put us, his "children" through so much pain. (which people often excuse by saying "god has a plan")Trust me - I wrote this for answers. Anything you say is interesting to me - I am desperate, to some extent, for someone to come along and tell me something that will bring back all of the faith in God that I once had. I WANT to trust God. I am just so confused right now.
I want to understand why bad things happen in this world, and why so many bad things have happened to my family. I want to know why God hasnt protected me from the world, since I am supposed to be his "child"/
