kerria,

My heart goes out to you. I'm so sorry you're upset. I wish I could give you hugs and chocolate cake.

I don't know what DID is. If you'll share what that is, maybe I could understand better what you're going through. I'm not sure I understand where your pastor is coming from. I think what took place in Daniel was a miracle, not something that happens every day.

God allows us to suffer to make us stronger. I have often heard it put that just as gold is refined by fire, so are we. The fire changes us. It is up to us to decide what our attitude is going to be about that fire.

For example, 10 yrs. ago, our 3rd daughter was stillborn. I didn't think I'd live through it. I'm amazed that I did, actually. I could still be angry about having experienced this tradgedy, blaming God for allowing such a terrible thing to have happened, or I can choose to thank God in all circumstances (which wasn't possible for a few years) and be greatful that I had the opportunity to have experienced this beautiful little girl in my own way. She has taught me more about life than any of my other 3 daughters combined!

I hope you find some peace this evening through Him.

crazy teresa
