crap it wasn't meant to be judgemental at all. I don't judge anyone, honest, but I'm not opposed to stating beliefs that I consider truth. I mean no matter how you look at it, sex can = babies, unless of course you are gay and then it might = disease. God wants ALL people to live for their alloted time, and be happy and healthy, or loved and cared for. And that's another truth.

When I read that other quote the first time it pinched me too, but it was a good pinch. I mean there's nothing like repentance. God is so kind. He accepts us just the way we are and helps us turn around. My life is a testament to that. I don't know - maybe I'm getting myself in deeper here - but I think it is a faith topic worthy of discussion. Thank-you for discussing, and hey, there's nothing wrong with visiting the faith board :)

These beliefs are unpopular, but they have been since the beginning of time. Can you see why? I'm guessing Sex is one of the main reasons people turned their backs on God. Fron my own experience, when I have had an attraction, I could not pray. I would kneel down and start, but by the time I got finished my mind would be on the person, like I was praying to him instead of God, also like he had taken God's place as my personal savior. I'm glad that part of my life is over. 10 years, 20, who knows, but once I got into it, it just kept getting worse, like an addiction. If I had acted on any of it, think of the families I might have affected, my own first. I considered it a huge problem of the mind. I have turned it around, but not without scars. I have no idea why I am *confessing* this all over this forum, other than if my experience can help someone else, then it's worth it. Why else do we experience what we do if not to help others avoid our mistakes?
