I have always been taught that true science is a proof for true religion, and never to fear it, so therefore, I assumed all religions believed the same. A child often assumes that if something is true, everyone should believe it. I'm still of the opinion that there shouldn't be a conflict between the two.
Is there any truth in the book "Angels and Demons"? It's a pretty fantastic story if you ask me. I'm sure that no true believer would suppress science intentionally, otherwise he wouldn't be a true believer, would he?
Some assumptions we have prove right and some don't. Have you ever been shocked into a realization that one of yours was wrong? I guess this is mine.
