There is a popular teaching about the antichrist called,{...dispensational premillliniumism...]and variations of it.
Some of this teaching has incorperated in it that there will be a person that will be the antichrist. The teaching is usually based on interpretting various bible verses in a particular way. Jerry Falwell has his teaching on this and there have been popular books written about this teaching. A Google search perhaps,[...antichrist,Jerry Falwell...] could bring up answers about [...dispensational premillliniamism...].
