monotheistic religion

i do not exclude any form of belief, as i believe they are representations of our desiring toward an understanding of the unknown-- i agree with dena that the finite mind cannot possibly conceive of the infinite... that is why it is hard for me to appreciate a monotheistic, absolutist approach to religion and religious practice. i prefer to leave it much more open.
there are things i can never know. the taoists caution about arguing about the universe, as it has taken care of itself for a long, long time...
