Hello,
I've been wrapped up in my own recovery lately and so was shocked, frightened, and disheartened to read the headlines this afternoon.
As a Christian, I believe the days of vengence are over. Christ was a martyr for peace. As outrageous and reprehensible as this recent acts of the separatist certainly are, I still don't believe peace can be achieved through war. Also it saddnes me that these separaritist are Islamic. Islam only means a total submission to God. It certainly does not mean what happened in Russia.
The 21st century has gotten off to an appalling start but let's, in the midst of war, all continue to pray for peace ... however small it seems, one small prayer, to actualize peace in one's own life is the beginning of real change.
