I don't call myself a buddhist, but that is the closest to my philosophy of life, and something I am interested in learning more about.

But, I do think us from "alternative" view points are somewhat chased away from this board as it is so focused onto "One God, as the creator of everything". I'm really interested in theology of all kinds, but I'm not really willing to be talked down to, and be told I will spend eternity in purgatory or where ever for my beliefs.

I believe there is room for everyones beliefs in this world, and life would be very boring if we all thought the same. I don't believe any of us will be punished / rewarded for our beliefs after death, and living as the best possible person you can be is the best thing any one person can do.

ps - interesting topic! ta!
