Thanks for posting nicolas. I'm certain there is good to be found in every religion. I learned meditation through whole hearted healing, which isn't a religion, but a procedure. For me whole hearted healing (with God by my side) was a wonderful experience, and something I can fall back on whenever I need it.

Recently I was having difficulty touching a certain house cleaning nightmare. I meditated and traced the emotion back. I linked it up to leaving my first childhood home, and wishing I could clean up the old house so I could use it for a play area and sleep overs, and not being able to face it then. But beyond that, the reason we moved across the yard to my grandparent's home was because they had both just died within 6 months of one another. So, my refusal to touch the mess had a direct link to the death of my beloved grandparents, so I meditated upon that until I entered the origin of all trauma (birth).

The next day I got up, went into the room, and instead of just standing there, looking around in a frenzy, I started the work. It didn't feel like a housekeeping nightmare. There was no pain, no road blocks, nothing barring me from the project. I have enjoyed sorting and cleaning, filing, and de-junking all the "stuff" I have saved up and hung onto for years and years and years and years. I can now part with it and let go. Does this sound mental? Did faith have something to do with it? Certainly because I relied heavily upon the real and living God during the process. I also used my faith and belief as a measure because I can't go along with everything in whh. So, approaching it through my own personal understanding and using faith in the process was key for my success with the technique.

I'm sure that a Christian Buddhist would understand how it is possible to bring the best of what you already have into a new dimention and apply it to personal healing.
