you're right it was on the Admin board. I was raised catholic too. I found the sikh experience was similar to being a catholic. Lots of ritual and beautiful music. I loved the experience of both religions in many ways. The sikh practice is much more rigorous. Up at 3:30am every morning and doing Sadhana till 6:30 or 7am. I never got any sleep but loved the beauty of the practice. Going to summer solstice was glorious...on the top of a mountain range in New Mexico. Heaven pure heaven. I was never so high. My marriage to a man who was into the dharma killed the short stay (5 years more or less). He was on his way out and I was so newly in. It made me real sad but I lost my desire to be part of the dharma. I still have wonderful feelings and memories of my short journey into Sikh dharma. Thanks for replying to my post.
