I have to thank Dr. Bob for providing instruction on how I could a) post the link to find this book (I read the book and recommended it, not Dr. Bob) and b) tie into the spiritual thread here. But, I still believe a combination of spirituality, including meditation, and pharmacology are beneficial. The book in question is "When Things Fall Apart".
