I read that article, and even read it to my husband. The movie sounds like a timely piece of art, and I look forward to seeing it. Do you know what scripture I opened right up to after I read this? Well, this would certainly spark a little controversy. It was one describing that before Jesus comes again there will be a division between the two beliefs. Now, I wish I could figure out what the two beliefs are. Apparently each side will be gathered and then either spared, or destroyed at His coming.

Is there a polarization taking place today between the two sides, whatever they are?

What do you think the two sides are?

Kind and Mean?
Beautiful and Ugly?
Caring and Abusive?
Believers in Christ and non believers in Christ?
Kind and caring believers in Christ, and mean and abusive believers and non-believers in Christ?
-lovers and haters?
-givers and takers?
-rich and poor?
?
The scriptures are oh so clear on this, and so to-the-point, that it is scary.

And, how many ways are there to be destroyed or things to be spared from? Turn out our lights, cut off the power, kill us, tamper with our food supply, fires, floods, earthquakes, hail, wind, plagues. Coming home from Idaho Saturday night at exactly 12:40 a.m. we saw a huge meteor or something, shoot down from the sky, explode so bright that the interior of the car lit up as in a lightening strike, and it looked like it actually was going to hit somewhere. It would be just that easy I guess.

Not meaning to scare anyone here, just some of my "travelling" thoughts after reading the movie article.

Anyway, I trust Christ to be the standard bearer, and do hope to be found on his right side.

Since there are no "easy" answers, all any of us can do is "be prepared". Speaking of, for excellent ideas, including basic food storage and recipes, read http://www.providentliving.org/
