Flood Myth in Plato's Timaeus

Just an interesting factoid. I was reading Plato's Timaeus last week and there is a story of a global deluge. It is very similar to the Noah story.

I guess whether you consider that as confirming the biblical account or as showing it's origin to be in common human myth depends on your starting assumptions.
