for Angel and others...

Sorry to sound like a cop-out, but nobody on earth has ALL the answers to spiritual questions.
I doubt even the most devout Christians (or other religious believers) don't have a time in their lives when they don's say "why me, God?".

I mean, how can ANYBODY explain to a mother whose child just got killed by some "random act" that it's God's will, and for her just to be faithful?

Having a faith in ANY thing means it is going to be tested by someone or something. How it stands up under this scrutiny is what makes all the difference.

Do I have a perfect life because I am a Christian? No way! In fact, Christ Himself said those who followed Him would know suffering. Paul praised God for his trials, and still found a way to at least find "contentment" in all situations he found himself in.

Even Christ's closest followers, those He lived with for three years, were unable to grasp the true faith very well then, and they saw FIRST HAND His miracles and wonders.

What is to be gleaned from this? Hope. When all else fails, when even logic and the laws of "human" science tell me one thing, I know that should God choose, He can do anything with my life regardless of the circumstances.

So I hope, and I pray, and I try to live my life in a way reflecting these beliefs. Do I always have it together? No. Sometimes it is 2 steps forward, and 1 step back. However, I do know one thing, when my very brief time on this globe is done, I have a place to go where I will no longer have tears, or know sadness or dread the darkness of my mind. Only then will my struggles be over. However, I will not be the one to choose to die, it will be God. Even when I stand in a burning cauldron, I choose life. Death by my hand is no "easy way out". I do no one any favors, nor does anyone, if I choose to take my life into MY control. God is not my "co-pilot" He is my pilot, and I will go where He takes me, no matter how bad it may seem.
