10. my duckie is 1 year old (plus a couple of days) it's a miracle he's made it a year with me as his mother! guess a baby duckie can live on coffee and klonopin? (that was a joke, i think? though, i did have a dream he somehow got ahold of one of my klonopins and i thought 'oh dear, how am i gonna explain this one to the poison control center?'
9. mr kk. he's so very wonderful. need i say more? of course i don't need to but i have to brag (sorry those without a mr kk). he loves me almost as much as i love myself. he goes without sleep jsut to spend time with me. he's the bestest father i could ever hope for. we always have a great time together (if you get my drift). he's always been able to pick me up, even when i was pregnant and weighed well over 200 lbs.
8. my family (god love them). my nieces, my sister, my otehr sisters, my mother (god really love her, she needs it), all of them. if they weren't my family, i'd probably never talk to them anyway :) they're lucky i'm family, or they'd never have the chance to know me.
7. coffee, rj reynolds (hey, that's not a new one, but it's not the first on my list this time), klonopin, friends, babble, babble, babble, babble friends, a car that runs and has a top that comes down, me being able to keep MY top up when drinking, those 'sick' people drinks (hey, they keep me alive right now), flowers blooming, green leaves on trees, ((((ipod))))), music, life, love, upcoming presidential elections and spiderman 3.
6. the changing seasons. sometimes i don't appreciate the area i live in. but, as the seasons change, i'm really beginning to appreciate where i live. just the drive into town, i see beautiful landscapes and gorgeous trees.
5. the speedway right down the street from my house. while i don't always enjoy the sound of racing cars while i'm trying to sleep, i love the buzz i get from gasoline, especially when i don't have to huff it from a gas tank.
4. seeing dennis leary on tv all the time. i'm getting really excited about his tv show (though i've never seen it). i just like watching him beat himself up and calling himself names.
3. it's the season for shoes and no socks. rolled up pants. sleeveless shirts. short skirts. and loud music.
2. sitting outside all day in the sun.
1. being able to steal (borrow, whatever) my sister's clothes. my legs are a bit thicker since having a child, so i can wear shorts now and not look so much like a bird. one can wear shorts and heels, right? of course one can, if their name is kk, and mine is.....
here's to warmer weather, baby duckies, flowers in bloom, high heels, pony tails (though i'm fond of 2 pig tails, what's that called anyway? man, my meds, speaking of) meds that make me dumb but keep me stable, coffee and iced tea, not drinking soda pop anymore, sun tea weather, half and half, convertible weather, sunglasses, a great doctor for the duckie, shots to protect from whooping cough, schools that remember mom on mother's day, and camel lights in a soft pack!

oh, and GIN and tonics! yes, can't forget them... what about beer too? goose island has a nice blend out right now...
