> It is so painful to see your child's life fall apart. My son has had multiple problems including an eating disorder, depression and horrifiv binge eating. He gets so agitated that he can not stop himself from ingesting everything in the house and then he feels such self-hatred and derpession. He has tried prozac, celexa, wellbutrin, risperdal and adderall wihtout much lasting success. THe doctor just started him on topamax which should stabailize his agaitation. HAs anyone had luck with it for their child? I am desperate becasue he has totally isolated himself and needs to have some relief. HAS anyone had a child who is bipolar and gets out of control with eating?
amy, unfortunately this is a fairly newly created board, with not a lot of activity so far. You might check one of the sites listed in one of the early posts and get some support and information there. Good luck.
