Been getting similar treatment (acupuncture with electric current) for depression, anxiety and chronic pain since 2010. Needle points are not in the scalp, they are in the face, temples, arms, legs and back. Anxiety and pain has improved. Hard to say if depression is improved from the treatment, or from the change in environment since I get the treatment in Thailand.
