I don't know what to tell you man. The FDA is pretty hands-off in terms of regulating nutritional supplements, so there's no way to tell. Actually, with all the "quality control" issues with pharmaceuticals lately, it would appear that you take a little bit of a gamble anytime you pop a pill.
I trust the vitacost people, personally. And Jarrow. Puritan's Pride hasn't caused any problems for me, but vitacost seems to keep their stuff formulated to line up with emerging research better than Puritan's does. Also, they give free shipping over $49, which does my tightwad heart good.
Jarrow makes a time release NAC, and they're a pretty reputable company. Something to consider?
