HI, I take 50 mg L phenylalanine along with b6 in a b complex and it raised my dopamine.Phenylalanine converts to tyrosine then L-dopa followed by dopamine which in turn converts to norepinephine and epinephrine . I was told by my doctor to be sure not to take dl form of phenylalanine because it would have the opposite effect.
