Over the years, I've learned that, at least for me, the time of day you take certain vitamins can affect mood positively or negatively. For instance, I take my vitamin E and C in the morning, wait awhile, then take fish oil after that. It seems to work better than taking them in the afternoon or evening. I've found that taking B vitamins might be best taken early on in the day, but I have also taken them in the afternoon as well. I like to wait at least a half hour before I take my next vitamin instead of taking them all at once. My mood seems more stable if I do it this way instead of just dumping all my vitamins into my system at once. I spread out the vitamins throughout the morning. I think what you have to do is to determine which vitamins help you the most and formulate a regimen for each part of the day, morning, afternoon, and evening. That's why I don't necessarily like multivitamins because you're dumping all those nutrients into your system all at once, and I think some people have to spread their supplements throughout at least the morning and early afternoon. Also, I've found that B vitamins work better if taken multiple times of day rather than a megadose all at once. I'm just letting people know that the time of day you take your vitamins may mean the difference between a fair result and a better than fair result.
