Well, if it is severe, I can't explain why they aren't trying stuff. ??? I mean, staying confined in the small limited world of just antipsychotics isn't exactly anywhere close to "tryings stuff". Pubmed literature shows other "stuff" to work on resistant schizophrenia and psychotic depression. And they aren't antipsychotics. I've mentioned them before many times, so no need to go into that again. It just boggles my mind why a doctor who admits his patient is severe won't try stuff. If this isn't a time to try stuff, when is? When someone keeps trying the same ole strategy over and over (as in antipsychotics) and it doesn't work, yet they keep trying it thinking it will work, that itself is a definition of insanity. Your doctor might be more severe than you are.
