I'm sorry I do not have any experience with different brands. I've never tried Forskolin.
However I did want to offer support in letting you know that in the books I have read on adrenal fatigue, thyroid issues, heavy metal toxicity, and lyme disease, Forskolin is a name that keeps coming up. So there must be something there. It isn't mentioned very often, if at all, when looking at just depression. But the likelihood of the depression coming from one of the above causes is high. Somehow Forskolin has the potential to address something fundamental in a variety of syndromes and illnesses. It is my view that depression is not an illness, but rather a symptom of a different illness, and that Forskolin has the power to somehow bridge the roadblocks of various illnesses, thus improving depression.
As an example, Forskolin competitively displaces heavy metals or bacterial toxins that are clogging cortisol receptors. That would certainly have implications in improving depression symptoms.
