have told you, it is highly toxic. Long-term use will probably cause at least some degree of permanent brain damage -- a well-documented effect of neuroleptics in *adults* (I cringe at the thought of developing brains being exposed to neuroleptics). Even Ritalin would be safer, which has an extensive history of use in children.BTW, the etymology of the word neuroleptic is revealing. Its Greek derivation loosely translates to "nerve" (neuro-) + "to seize or take".
Don't use 5-HTP. It elevates serotonin in the bloodstream. Serotonin causes cardiomyocyte proliferation, which in excess can damage the heart valve. Have you considered tryptophan? It should be safe in that respect.
