Have you tried adding DL-phenylalanine or tyrosine along with your tryptophan? Other vitamins that may be helpful are vitamins B12, B6, B1, vitamin C and vitamin E. Also, if you can tolerate it, a complete mineral supplement may be helpful. Country Life is a good brand. It's all a matter of trial and error. Good luck!
