Yes, thanks for the information. I personally believe that the individual probably has some intuition as to what amount of exercise helps them the most.

I do agree that I hear about a lot of people who say, "I went out for a jog today and feel worse". Well, like the study says, it takes time to have an effect.

I think that exercising "around" other people probably is as benificial as exercising with other people. I don't think you need to have to jog next to people, but perhaps jogging down streets, through parks etc would probably have the same effect.

Jogging to music probably engages the brain even more, and adds a factor of enjoyment to the whole process.

Also I thought I'd note that it may be similar mechanisms involved in marajuanna, and exercise induced enhancement of neurogensis, ie cannabanoid receptor activation.(?)

I think that jogging is maybe physically difficult for many people and that detracts from the possable mental benifits. As the program becomes easier, perhaps more mental gains can be made.
