Yes it's correct. Depending on the condition you are trying to treat you may be able to drastically lower the amount of Inositol you need to ingest to get a therapeutic effect by combining it with other nutrients.
There are also other forms of Inositol which are more effective but which aren't readily available to the public, that have been used in studies.
which may reduce an
I remember an article where it was suggested that the studied dosage of Inositol for panic attacks 12g - 18g daily could be reduced significantly by combining it with IP6 (phytic acid). The dosage was something like 1500mg Inositol and 600mg IP6.I have tried Inositol at large doses and also combined with IP6 and I found it to have zero effect on the frequency of panic that I experienced. However that's me.
Inositol can be combined with GABA , Taurine , Glycine , Vitamin B6 and Niaciamide to provide a mild anxiolytic effect.
The Myoinositol form of Inositol is an essential component of Inositol Hexaphosphate (Phytic Acid) and Inositol is synergistic with Inositol Hexaphosphate (the combination of Inositol + Inositol Hexaphosphate exerts more potent therapeutic effects compared to Inositol Hexaphosphate administered as a “singular” therapy).
