i was talking w/ a pharmacist the other day re this and i mentioned Montel Williams, who has a television show and believes marijuana helps his MS pain significantly. the pharmacist admitted, as i did, we used to smoke pot when we were young, as teenagers, and enjoyed it very much. the pharmacist said he believed Montel just liked to smoke pot, and that he saw many other alternatives for medical marijuana that are more tested and work just as well.... marijuana has been touted a miracle cure/treatment, i think, and the pharmacist wasn't saying it shouldn't be legalized but only that there were other medicines now on the market that had as much, if not more, value. so he believed, as i do, there is a lot of hype attached to it.
i haven't tried it for the MS. recently, a guy i know offered me to share some with him, but i declined. i don't think i'll ever do it illegally, but only if my Dr. prescribes it.
as i said before, i used to smoke it as a kid, but i quit smoking it when i became a christian at age 20.
although i have pain, it probably wouldn't help the fatigue, the depression, and i am about 40 lbs. overweight also and i am sure that it probably wouldn't help me lose weight either.i am having trouble w/ exercise. i used to walk about 2 miles per day, but now when i try to walk 3/4 of a mile, the next day i am so hurting, i can barely move.
should i just keep trying to build myself up?

> Hi there. Sorry I didn't respond, but I was away for a couple of days. There are some people who use marijuana for their MS here in Canada. For some it helps, for others it doesn't. I tried it and it just made my depression worse. But yes, I would have to say that there are more people here who use it than people in the U.S. .
