I am not very consistent in using it. Last summer I got some nutritional yeast from a natural health food store, and was using a teaspoon almost daily for a while in smoothies I was making. I didn't notice a difference in the way I was feeling, but, regardless, it is a good source of B vitamins, so it is not a total waste IMO.
