Most Mao-A is found in the placenta, liver and small intestine http://www.acnp.org/g4/GN401000046/CH046.htmlhttp://www.emdbiosciences.com/html/CBC/neurobiology_inhibitors_monoamine_oxidase.htm
In fact, the vast majority of drugs exert their influence by being absorbed in the intestinal tract.
There's no question that a major problem with new nardil (for some people) is that it dissolves too quickly and metabolised before it can reach the intestines, the section of the GI tract where the majority of Mao-A exists.
So I searched online for enteric coated capsules and found a product called Plasmin Plus. it is enteric coated and the capsule was purposefully created to survive the trip through the stomach and dissolve in the intestinal tract. For several weeks I have been opening up the Plasmin Plus capsules, crusing the nardil pills, filling up the Plasmin capsules and closing them back up. Then I put the capsules in my mouth (or water) for a few seconds, and leave them out to dry for a few minutes to make sure they are sealed.
The process may sound complicated, but it really isn't, and the effect is that the nardil is siginificantly more effective, and hardly causes any GI problems or insomnia.
By the way, as a disclaimer, I'm not pushing the Plasmin Plus product. Many sites sell it, and I don't care which one people get it from.
Hope that helped. Good luck
Where did you buy enterically coated capsules? I notice the new Nardil works for me, but I never tried the "old" one. You may want to try taking it with bioperine, which aids the absorption of vitamins/drugs and see how that goes.
