Breathing and fresh air and panic atta ›› TeeJay

Hi again TJ,

Exam soon at uni,..which I'm NOT looking forward to. You can do subjects without exams but the dumb uni then gets to set the fees (instead of being govt regulated) and they charge you > $2000 more per subject..so I had to do he exams..(:-
Well I choose to rather than waste the $2400 ? per subject.

They'll give me extended time too but then I have to go in this small room and its just too stuffy... no airconditioning, low plastic ceilings, smelly carpets, reeks of those felt pens, glary fluorescents and shiny desks..and I can't breathe in there..tried on Friday. If I could open the windows and doors..but mid winter the others wouldn't like that..so I'll just opt to have it in the hall and hope to felt half way thru it..by the time I take toilet breaks etc., and I'm slow hitting the keys on the calculator, well the right ones anyhow. kinda puts one off trying when you know you can't get thru anyway. Still its not that important at all in the life.
Just No one gets it that I need air :-)

All I requested is that I get to sit on the side of the room..which is where the air conditoining gets blown in mostly and lets me leave the room without disturbing others as well, sigh.
The doc put suffers panic attacks on my medical conditions,,drat him. Doesn't get it that I'm not panicing about anything..algthough I admit I do panic at times(and yeah, I am a bit of a worry guts)..but it doesn't seem related to breathing at all??

http://www.thyroidhistory.net/thyroidhistory.net/view_article.asp?artid=2685 here they had breathlessness..

There was another one on metabolism not normalising for borderline subclinical hypothyroids on meds..which implied the difficulty getting oxygen (I think) and was not normalised after 12 months on meds in the study, but I can't find it now!

Anyway I just don't think my "not getting enough air" thing is psychological at all.
