I have one of his books at home that I refer to regularly. He has done a lot to bring more holistic treatment into the mainstream.

My only complaint about him is that he still has some of the old school, traditional medicine biases. He doesn't believe CFS exists. As a sufferer I find that infuriating. He also thinks that hypoglycemia is a rare condition and that most people who claim to have it, don't. I am also hypoglycemic and find that opinion insulting as well.
