Hi Geno, thanks for putting this all together,it was an interesting read....

> Hi all, first off, dont let the topic fool you. Both of the topics are books written by two pretty well known doctors, H.Cass, DR. Sahilian, who are Medical doctors,

I've got a book by Dr Cass and Patrick Holford - in the UK, I've attended a few courses with Patrick.

> L-Theanine, suprisingly , a gaba enhancer, does increase DA levels slightly

I feel awful with theanine! bought some recently!

>but SAMe, does increase dopamine,Serotonin and Melatonin Levels. Primarily, Dopamine levels are raised moresoe than the others ,

SAMe is important for catecholamine regulation, via the enzyme COMT....also important for receptor function because cell membrane phospholipids need methylation for their synthesis.....methylated phosphatidyl choline can also act as a reservoir of choline for acetylcholine.....would like to learn what else it does..

>called picamilon

feel disgusting on picamilon! but fine on passion flower and kava kava.

> Well lastly, and I have to make to make it quick, Acetylchole , which is responsible for Memory and cognitive, properties, supplements such as Vinpocetine, Phosphytydlcholine (lethecin) , DMAE, NAHD, and Acetyl-L-carnitine increase acytylcholine. A herb called Huprazine A actually blocks an enzyme aceytlcholinerase which actually kills achytylcholine Neurons. Both ALzhiemers, and Memory problems are being studied and these substances are being used, often better than drugs.

Feel awful on DMAE, and acetyl carnitine - NADH has no effect, but niacinamide is great. Also do well on phosphatidylcholine, but get really ill when I take anything with just choline. A lot of pesticdes are acetylcholinesterase inhibitors, and the deadly nightshade family contain them too, as natural pesticides....solanine in potatoes, especially.

Kappa Opiate receptors are used when drugs like suboxone are administered for detoxification because its a kappa Antagonists, Delta Receptors and ORL are 2 other receptors which are more soe responsible for Brain Endrophans, and enkephelans. But more studies on this is needed.

Heard that d-phenylalanine inhibits the breakdown of endorphins - also, undigested wheat and dairy proteins form opiates in the brain, triggering autoimmune inflammatory responses, and addiction to wheat and dairy, especially in autism & ADD.

>I have been approached wheile working in a vitamin store by 2 older women, in there 80's and told me, in exact words" were both 82 and we feel 52, We take all these herbs and such, esp a product called essex tea which cured cancer for one of them and also it cured cancer on another person, if you get it in typme.

Do you mean Essiac tea? Yes a lot can be done nutritionally for cancer. Have worked with a couple of people (well one person and a dog!). The first person has been free of her breast cancer for a couple of years, and the dog's tumour shrunk for 6 months, until she relapsed. For the breast cancer, helping the liver and bowel excrete excess estrogen, to reduce the proliferation of estrogen sensitive breast tissue, helped, and for the dog, using natural anti-inflammatories, helped slow angiogenesis (new blood vessels to tumour), and japanese mushroom extracts helped balance T cells, to kill and to reduce tumour growth.

Thanks once again for the info...

Ray
