If you have Fibromyalgia it may be worth your while to read www.lowdosenaltrexone.org.It isn`t really alternative medicine but rather a small dose of a regular prescription medication called naltrexone taken in a dose of 4.5mg at night It is used in a dose of 50mg daily to block the effects of opiates in addicts. It seems to work as perhaps an immune booster in a small doses for lots of conditions and is probably worth trying.I am a family doctor in Dublin,Ireland, and have put quite a few patients on it recently but it is too soon yet to comment on its value in my practice. However some of the patient reports on the above website are very impressive for a wide range of conditions including cancers and MS.
