Most scheduled drugs are abused drugs...or they wouldn't be scheduled.

When I say that MDMA MAY be relativly benign, this comment is based on the years of FALSE study results (methamphetamine was used in place of MDMA) ALL human "studies" have been performed on poly drug users, so the results are erroneous.

Methamphetamine is most definately still prescribed to children, and adults on a regular basis:

Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity --DESOXYN tablets are indicated as an integral part of a total treatment program which typically includes other remedial measures (psychological, educational, social) for a stabilizing effect in children over 6 years of age with a behavioral syndrome characterized by the following group of developmentally inappropriate symptoms: moderate to severe distractibility, short attention span, hyperactivity, emotional lability, and impulsivity. The diagnosis of this syndrome should not be made with finality when these symptoms are only of comparatively recent origin. Nonlocalizing (soft) neurological signs, learning disability, and abnormal EEG may or may not be present, and a diagnosis of central nervous system dysfunction may or may not be warranted.

As far as MDMA being more dangerous than Methamphetamine, I dissagree...Meth is the only drug to cause the same injuries as a closed head injury...MDMA's potential neurotoxicity can be attenuated or even completely blocked by altering the reuptake pumps of the serotonin neuron (SSRIS) or by preventing the breakdown of dopamine w/in serotonin nerurons (selegiline/MAO-B inhibitors). Any info on MDMA being neurotoxic to dopanine neurons came from the false studies that used METH in place of MDMA. MDMA injected driectly into primates brians caused no neurotoxic effects (even at doese MUCH higer than any street dose)
